Neil Henderson is a Scottish golfer who turned professional in August 2013 and has set the ultimate goal of competing on the European Tour. He will be playing on the mini tours in the coming seasons to complete his aspiration of becoming a European Tour player. With a professional approach to his golf, Neil treats it as a 9-5 job with dedication and enthusiasm.

Neil enjoyed a successful amateur career including representing Scotland in the 2007 European Boys Team Championships and Home Internationals. He finished 2nd on the boys order of merit the same year thanks to victories in the Junior Tour, Scottish schools championship and Champion of Champions. In 2008 he reached the match-play stages of The Amateur Championship at Turnberry.

Neil had a great four years in Virginia, USA where he obtained a golf scholarship at Old Dominion University. He was named in the all conference team his final two years, was a four-year letter winner and helped the team to a tournament victory at Pinehurst in 2012. During the summers whilst home he became a consistent player on the amateur circuit in Britain, with achievements including 2nd at the East Of Scotland Championship, 4th in the Tennant Cup, 5th in the Florida Azalea Amateur and turning professional with a handicap of +3.4.
